In fact, Arthur and crew aped the Stones' recording method on the new album, tracking "all of the new songs straight to tape using only 16 tracks with no reverb, sort of back to the basics," Arthur commented in a statement. Joseph is working with A River Blue Project, an arts empowerment project that was started through the non-profit Barefoot Workshops and founder Chandler Griffin. ARB is an arts empowerment project for the children of internally-displaced persons in Lira, Northern Uganda. Barefoot is currently coordinating on the ground with local non-profits to create a vocational training and rehabilitation center for youth who participated in A River Blue.
